For 2025, there were 216 successful applicants including 85 cities, 48 counties, 23 special districts, 26 school districts, 15 higher education agencies, 7 state or provincial agencies and 12 others. In addition to the National Procurement Institute, Inc. She offers help to colleagues whenever she sees an opportunity and is always full of energy and enthusiasm. She’s curious and continuously looks for new ways to collaborate with and learn from colleagues. She’s passionate about procurement and focused on making a difference to the future of the profession. She recently earned her NIGP-CPP. Alyssa is an interesting and a fun individual who brings a fresh perspective to the profession. Evan Amidan awarded the 2024 IPPA Professional Buyer of the Year and 2023 Bonfire Power User 2024 IPPA Professional Buyer of the Year Evan graduated from BSU in 2017 with a bachelors in supply chain management and started working for Ada County soon after. He had little procurement experience and was very eager to learn all he could. Six years later he has learned more than he ever could have imagined and has the greatest team anyone could ever ask for. He is grateful for the learning opportunities the County has given him and the opportunities to get his CPPB and most recently his NIGP-CPP. It’s a great honor to be considered for the IPPA 2024 Professional Buyer of the Year. Bonfire Procurement Awards 2023 Winner – Power User Evan is our guy for all things Bonfire. He has been able to provide an amazing amount of guidance and support to our other procurement officers to help make their solicitations successful. Evan has the uncanny ability to set up difficult solicitations in Bonfire that in the end are easy to interpret for our vendors and buyers. Evan epitomizes team player and is a solution driven problem solver….Evan simply is awesome! NIGP Performance Standard Seal and Outstanding Chapter Awards IPPA earned the Gold Performance Standard Seal in 2025 and several others since 2020. NIGP has developed a ‘standard’ in which chapters can strive to follow and advance the opportunities offered to their members. Participating chapters receive a score which records their progress in achieving excellence. Once a chapter successfully meets the standard, a digital seal is issued which the chapter can prominently display to their membership on their website and social media outlets. The four tiers provide motivation for Chapters to achieve an even higher tier in subsequent years. In addition, in 2025, IPPA won the Outstanding Chapter Professional Development award at the NIGP Annual Forum in Denver, Colorado. In 2023, IPPA was recognized with Outstanding Chapter Membership at the NIGP Annual Forum in Louisville, Kentucky. The NIGP Chapter Awards Program acknowledges contributions made by individual chapters in providing educational programs, professional support, and initiatives that benefit the public procurement profession.
