Overview
BidPulsar helps users discover and analyze public federal opportunity information. We aim to be transparent about the information we collect and how we use it.
BidPulsar is not affiliated with the U.S. Government. Users should always verify official solicitation details on SAM.gov before bidding.
Data we collect
Information you provide
- Contact details you submit, such as email address, phone number, company name, and support messages.
- Account and authentication information for email/password, one-time passcode, Sign in with Apple, and Google sign-in.
- Legal and communications consent records, such as acceptance timestamps and the Terms/Privacy version shown during account creation.
- Workspace activity such as saved opportunities, watched notices, pursuit tasks, files, notification preferences, and AI brief requests.
- Public communication content you choose to create, such as public posts, replies, reactions, reposts, contractor profile information, and private messages.
Information collected automatically
- Basic usage and device information, such as browser or device type, pages/screens visited, app version, and approximate location from network signals.
- Log data such as timestamps, referral URLs, and performance diagnostics.
- Cookies or similar technologies to remember preferences and measure performance.
Mobile permissions
- Location permission is used only when you choose nearby or location-biased opportunity discovery.
- Photo library, files, and camera permissions are used only when you choose to attach media or files.
- Notification permission is used only when you choose push alerts for matches, deadlines, updates, or account activity.
Public opportunity data
BidPulsar processes public opportunity data from official sources (such as SAM.gov) and may cache certain fields to improve user experience, search, and performance.
How we use information
- Provide and improve BidPulsar’s search, hub pages, and opportunity detail pages.
- Operate authenticated mobile features such as workspace, watchlists, notifications, public replies, private messaging, and account settings.
- Send requested communications (e.g., newsletters or alerts you opted into).
- Respond to inquiries and support requests.
- Monitor site performance, prevent abuse, and secure the platform.
- Measure marketing effectiveness and improve conversions for our services.
Email, SMS, and communications
Email newsletters and alerts
If you subscribe, we may send newsletters and opportunity-related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.
During account creation, email/SMS communications consent is optional and separate from the required Terms and Privacy Policy agreement.
SMS/text messaging
If you opt in to SMS/text messaging, you can opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
Service communications
We may send operational messages (e.g., confirmations, security alerts, and administrative notices) related to your account or requests.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure; however, we take security seriously and continuously improve controls.
Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement of agreements. We may retain aggregated or de-identified data longer.
Account deletion
If you create a BidPulsar account, you can initiate account deletion from inside the iPhone app by opening Settings → Privacy + data control → Request account deletion.
You may also email support@bidpulsar.com with an account deletion or privacy request. We verify requests and complete deletion unless limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, billing records, or dispute resolution.
Children
BidPulsar is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
- You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email.
- You may opt out of SMS by replying STOP (if you previously opted in).
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal data from iPhone Settings or by contacting us.
