Description

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is seeking statements of qualifications from qualified surveying and mapping firms in accordance with Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, for a wide range of projects. In particular, the FWC is seeking vendors to produce Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) data/maps and provide associated technical services on a task assignment basis. ESI data and maps will be produced in accordance with the latest version of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)’s Environmental Sensitivity Index Guidelines, https://response.restoration.noaa.gov/resources/esi-guidelines (a copy of which has been uploaded separately to the My Florida MarketPlace Vendor Information Portal, https://vendor.myfloridamarketplace.com/). Associated ESI technical services include Geographic Information System (GIS) application development, and remote and on-scene support for training, workshops, exercises, oil spills, hazardous materials spills, hurricanes, and other emergency response incidents. Projects will be located anywhere in coastal areas of the state of Florida and may occur in a variety of environmentally and archeologically sensitive areas. Respondents do not need to be located within a certain region to be considered.

A vendor submitting a bid should be registered in the MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) system and with Sunbiz prior to the bid opening.

For a copy of this bid, click on the link at the bottom of the advertisement page on the Florida Vendor Information Portal (VIP) website to download.
