Description
The project consists of the rehabilitation of the existing Industrial Park water storage tank including recoating of the tank’s existing exterior and interior surfaces, the installation of a new total trihalomethane (TTHM) removal system and appurtenant work. The existing Industrial Park Water Storage tank is a 0.670 MG welded steel tank approximately 72 feet in height with a diameter of approximately 40 feet located in Norwich, Connecticut. Additional work will include the replacement of the cathodic protection system components, a new combination free chlorine/pH analyzer and above-grade cabinet, a new above-grade 12-foot x 10-foot structure, a new 30 KW diesel driven standby generator and related site work.
