Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract modification (P00021) under contract N0019-22-C-0004 to the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, A Lockheed Martin Company to procure initial spares in support of the CH-53K program. The contract modification was awarded to the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation in the amount of $4,620,509 for the total contracted value.
This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 20-0508, dated 15 December 2020 – redacted version attached to this announcement.
