NORTHEAST TRANSFER STATION SCALE HOUSE REMODELING

The project consists of furnishing and installing all architectural, structural, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work, including but not limited to: • Installation of a new single ply Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roofing system to replace the existing roofing on the main roof and overhangs. All metal flashing and downspouts shall be replaced. • Installation of a new AC split system to replace the existing through wall equipment. • Installation of new hurricane rated exterior doors and windows to replace existing units, including structural reinforcement of the service window overhang. Remodeling of the control room, construction of a new ADA compliant bathroom, and construction of a new employee break room. Work includes, but is not limited to: • new interior and exterior lighting • new acoustical ceiling tile and gypsum wallboard ceilings • new insulation at all building envelope areas • new partitions and soffits as indicated • new flooring over concrete topping; new millwork • installation of all indicated equipment • complete interior and exterior patching and painting • All associated electrical systems • Provide a temporary office trailer with restroom facilities for employees. Permitting fees and testing. • Temporary relocation and installation of all scale control systems within the trailer to maintain facility operations during the construction process. • Asbestos abatement (APEX survey attached) DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF RFI QUESTIONS: By 4:00 P.M, EST., on 05/26/2026. Submit Request for Information (RFI's) to [email protected] with copy to [email protected] and [email protected] LICENSE QUALIFICATIONS OF CONTRACTORS: A) All Contractors must hold a current valid State of Florida Certified General Contractor License, as required by the Florida Building Code, for the types of Work covered by the Contract at the time of RPQ submission and maintain the same throughout the duration of the project. The certificate(s) is to be issued by: The State of Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board, pursuant to the provisions of Section 489.115 of the Florida Statute and registered with the Miami-Dade County Building Department or, The Dade County Construction Trades Qualifying Board, pursuant to the provisions of Section 10-3(a) of the County Code. Holders of Miami-Dade County Certificates of Competency must also hold Certificates of Registration issued by the State of Florida Construction Licensing Board, pursuant to the provisions of Section 489.115 or Section 489.117 of the Florida Statutes. Contractor must refer to the Request for Price Quotation (RPQ) and associated project documents for the detail Scope of Work.
Technical Certification: General Building Contractor
