Invitation for Bids for Installation of Water Tank for San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site

Texas HistoricalCommission (THC) is seeking a contractor to furnish all labor, materials,equipment, and services necessary to install a new water storage tank,structural slab, and below-grade plumbing. Work shall include all associatedsite preparation. The work must be completed in accordance with manufacturerspecifications and the Texas State Fire Marshal’s Office code requirements. Allitems above will be installed at the San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site. ThisIFB requires a pre-bid site visit/inspection. Bidders must schedule their ownsite visits from June 16, 2026, to June 19, 2026. The San Felipe de AustinState Historic Site is located at San Felipe de Austin, 220 2ND Street, SanFelipe, Texas 77473. Site contact:979-885-2181 or jordan.anderson@thc.texas.gov or Stephen.kelly@thc.texas.gov Site Hours:Tuesday to Sunday, 9 AM – 5 PM. Respondents must schedule their visits withinthe specified timeframe and submit questions by the noted deadline. After thesite visit, the Site Representative and Bidder must sign to establish the visitdate. Exhibit X, Site Visit Form, must be included in the Bid. The Bid will berejected if a signed Site Visit Form is not included. This IFB requiresa security bid bond to be included with your submittal; if not, your responsewill be considered non-responsive. Bids exceeding $25,000 must beaccompanied by a bid guarantee or security in the form of an original bid bond,certified check, or cashier’s check payable to the order of the TexasHistorical Commission for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amountof the Bid (including the total of all alternate bid items). This IFB hasbeen identified under 100k and does not require a VetHUB Subcontracting Plan.
