Lawn Maintenance Bid Request Summer 2026 Ontonagon Area School District April 13, 2026 Bid may be offered in the following format: A. Full amount for season bid (preferred method of bid) paid through installments over four months. In addition all bids must include: ● The contractor must provide evidence of liability coverage. ● A basic statement that includes the history of your company and how you plan on staffing to complete the work. The needed areas of lawn maintenance is as follows: Main campus basic service: 701 Parker Avenue, Ontonagon, MI 49953 1. Service provider will mow grass, trim weeds and remove grass cuttings within the following required areas: a. Mowing main yard areas in front and around all buildings on 701 Parker Avenue property. b. Mowing football field and practice field. c. Trimming around all building foundations, inside and outside all identified fenced areas, trees, fence posts, goalposts, light poles and signs. These areas include playground, athletic facility, bleachers, Greenbriar St. end of football field and tennis courts. 2. When mowing or trimming is complete, remove grass cuttings from track, all sidewalk areas and door entrances. 3. Grass around the tennis court area will need mowing and trimming. Grounds or building damage caused by lawn maintenance service shall be repaired by the contractor by the end of the season. Bids will be evaluated based upon the following criteria: ● Price - 50 pts ● Proof of insurance - 10 pts ● Company history and plan to complete lawn care - 20 pts Submit Sealed Bids to: Ontonagon Area School District, 701 Parker Ave, Ontonagon, MI 49953. Bids must be received by 3 pm on April 30, 2026. All bids received will not be opened until 3 pm on April 30, 2026. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
