The USCG Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center (SILC), in support of the Civil Engineering Unit - Juneau (CEUJ) has issued a solicitation for the construction of new family housing in Seward, Alaska. The project, identified as PN: 13611688, requires a contractor to provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, transportation, disposal, and supervision to complete the construction of three new duplex-type housing units. The solicitation also includes an optional bid item for a maintenance support building.

The work will take place on lots owned by the U.S. Government, with no known contaminants on the worksite. The scope of work encompasses all typical trades for new housing construction, including earthwork, utilities, and services.

All work must be performed in strict accordance with the Specifications for PN 136116880, Drawings for PN 13611688, and the applicable wage rates incorporated within the solicitation.

Interested and qualified contractors are encouraged to review the full solicitation for details on requirements, submission instructions, and evaluation criteria. As stated in the RFP, offerors must have residential building experience.

A Preproposal Conference is scheduled for 12 MAR 2026 9:30-10:30 AKST, see RFP for details.
