Description

Sole Source Posting (§24 -103-205, C.R.S.) Project Information: A brief description of the project relevant to this posting. The Rocky Mountain Workforce Development Association (RMWDA) provides critical professional development, networking, and support to the workforce system in Colorado, making the Association a critical partner with CWDC, the Employment and Training Division, and the Office of the Future of Work. This sponsorship continues the partnership across these entities to ensure engagement in policy and implementation priorities that are currently underway. More specifically, this sponsorship will support RMWDA to host a Director’s retreat and ensure full local area engagement with the upcoming Implementation Summit hosted by the Governor’s Office. Description of Goods and/or Services: A description of the goods and/or services to be awarded under this posting. Description of unique design or performance features essential to the Division/Unit’s requirements. Including a technical explanation as to why these features are essential. The CWDC will procure a sponsorship agreement with RMWDA. The sponsorship agreement will allow RMWDA to perform activities related to planning and coordinating events such as: New Workforce Directors Training Retreat FY27 Navigation Hub Planning Implementation Summit Local area participation in the Implementers Summit, Think Big Youth Conference Career Services Training Summit Workforce Development Board Training and Technical Assistance Regional Services Local Workforce Area WIOA Discretionary Grant Training Management Information Services Performance Measures Training State Apprenticeship Agency Apprenticeship Awards Out-of-State Training and Development Opportunities This agreement will allow the CWDC to sponsor RMWDA, which will perform all activities involved with coordinating the various conferences, convenings, training sessions, and meetings that are critical to a high- functioning state workforce system.
