Elections - Reconfiguration of Elections Headquarters

This is an abbreviated scope of work and must be further enriched by the bid permit set included in the solicitation. Contractor must obtain and submit all permits before performing any work. The Elections Headquarters Reconfiguration project will renovate and update the existing restrooms. The renovated scope includes all four restrooms located on the first and second floors of the Elections Headquarters. Each restroom will receive a built in janitorial storage space, and all existing wall tiles will remain. Sinks, faucets, toilet partitions, mirrors, countertops, and baseboards will be replaced. Lighting will be upgraded with new 24" x 24" LED fixtures matching those currently used in the facility. As specified in the plans, the existing wall tile will remain, and the new floor tile will be installed over the existing tile, along with the corresponding tile baseboard. Standard trash baskets will be used, and existing toilet paper holders will remain or be matched as needed. The renovation will maintain ADA compliance and ensure minimal disruption to adjacent areas during construction. The Project is located at 2700 NW 87 AVENUE, DORAL, FL 33172. Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit: A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING AND SITE VISIT ARE SCHEDULED. It is highly recommended that Bidders interested in attending the Meeting and Site Visit pre-register by emailing [email protected] (copy [email protected] ). Bidder must submit a completed, notarized Confidentiality Affidavit in order to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit - form provided in the Bid Documents ( [email protected] , copy [email protected] ). Bidders who have not submitted a Confidentiality Affidavit will be requested to leave the Meeting and Site Visit. Meet at 2700 NW 87 Avenue, Doral, FL 33172 (Project Site). Bidders must allow sufficient time before MEETING/SITE VISIT to sign in at Project Site and clear Security check. Bidders arriving after 10:10 AM WILL NOT be allowed into MEETING OR SITE VISIT. Requests for Information (RFIs): All requests for information (RFIs) shall comply with the Cone of Silence, Administrative Order 3-27 and shall be emailed to [email protected] with a copy to [email protected] and [email protected] . The deadline to receive RFIs from bidders is no later than 2 PM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Responses cannot be guaranteed for RFIs submitted past the established deadline.
