Description

Page 1 of 2 CONTINUATION OF PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: Project No. 620-23-205 Mission Critical Roofs Phase II at the Hudson Valley Healthcare System Montrose Campus, Montrose, NY 10548. The contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to replace roofs on buildings identified as mission critical. Egress is to be maintained throughout construction activity. This project includes replacement of gabled, dormer and flat roofs on buildings 12 and 27 in accordance with the accompanying drawings, specifications, and any local and federal codes, regulations, and procedures. Construction activities also include fall protection and other structural components of the roofing systems as indicated by the bid documents. The work shall include work covered by specification divisions 2 (hazardous materials / demolition), 5 (metals), 6 (wood and plastics), 7 (thermal & moisture protection), 26 (electrical) and 32 (site improvements). Construction activities include but are not limited to labor, material, equipment, and supervision required for roof demolition, fall protection demolition, asbestos abatement, roof installation, and fall protection installation. Some work activities may be required to be performed outside of normal business hours The contract completion time is Three Hundred Sixty Five (365) calendar days but no later than June 26, 2027. This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set Aside. The anticipated award date of the proposed Construction Contract is on or before June 26, 2026. Potential contractors must be registered in SAM (www.sam.gov ) with a UEI and are visible/verified/certified as SDVOSB in Dynamic Small Business Search (https://search.certifications.sba.gov/) at time of submission of their qualifications in order to be considered for an award. Bids will only be accepted from SDVOSBs that are determined to be responsible and responsive contractors. Prospective contractors must be approved under NAICS Code 236220, size standard of $45 Million. The magnitude of Construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. A bid bond will be required, and performance and payment bonds will be required upon award of contract. The solicitation will be released on or around April 15, 2026. The bid submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. Specifications and plans will be available for download from the Contract Opportunities website at www.SAM.gov. Amendments to this solicitation will be posted on the Contract Opportunities website as well. Bidders are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time of bid closing. All bid submissions shall be in email form; faxed or hardcover bids will not be accepted.
