Description
The Town of Warren, Rhode Island, is seeking sealed proposals from qualified elevator contractors for repair services to the municipal elevator at Warren Town Hall, located at 514 Main Street, Warren, RI 02885. The awarded contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, testing, and related services necessary to complete the repairs in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and codes. All public works projects funded with more than $1,000, including repair and modification of public buildings, are subject to Rhode Island prevailing wage laws. Contractors and subcontractors must adhere to Rhode Island General Laws Chapter 37-13 and all related requirements set forth by the Department of Labor and Training. Sealed proposals will be received by the Town of Warren, Rhode Island, in the office of the Town Clerk, 514 Main Street, until 11:00 am on Thursday June 18, 2026, after which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Town Clerks Office, 1st Floor of the Town Hall Building (514 Main Street, Warren, RI).
