PROPOSALS ARE BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE FOLLOWING:

DESCRIPTION : Mental Health Services
SUMM ARY STATEMENT: The Carroll County Department of Social Services intends to acquire
mental health services to develop workable solutions to problems that interfere with compliance and
participation in the work program, and gain employment .
REQUIREMENTS: Vendor must provide prompt access to counseling services to Family
Investment Work Program customers (up to 40 customers) who are identified by the Temporary Cash
Assistance (TCA) Program as needing mental health assessment or treatment. Vendor must reply w ithin 16
business hours to CCDSS after receiving customer referrals .
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Bidders must be Licensed Therapists with either Masters in Social
Work, Masters in Psychology, Masters in Counseling, Licensed Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse
Practitioner. Bidders must have at least 5 years experience in providing customers with needed counseling
and supportive services to address mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, and family issues.
