Introduction to RFAs for Vendors NOTICE Beginning October 1, 2025 , all new solicitations will be posted through Vendor Self Service (VSS) ! All RFAs posted to maine.gov prior to October 1, 2025 will continue with the process as defined in the RFAs below. New solicitations posted on or after October 1, 2025 will be available in Vendor Self Service only. 1. Vendors must have an active User ID and password in VSS to submit questions and respond to solicitations. 2. Vendors must have an active Vendor Code (VC or VS) to contract with the department.
