ATTACHMENT E ADDITIONAL PROJECT REQUIREMENTS (RESERVED) OPRIS ITB #13944 – Cleawox Bathhouse and Roof Restoration 2 SECTION A – PROJECT AND SOLICITATION SUMMARY A.1 PROJECT DESCRIPTION The purpose of this ITB is to establish a contract for the Cleawox Bathhouse Roof and Porch Restoration at Jesse M. Honeyman State Park (the “Project”) for the benefit of the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (the “Contract”). The work to be performed under the Contract shall consist of furnishing tools, equipment, materials, supplies, permits and manufactured articles; furnishing transportation and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications; and the performance of all labor, work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents (the “Work”). The Work, includes, but is not limited to: BASE BID

  • 1. Mobilization / Overhead.
  • 2. Site Protection / Work Platforms / Structural Bracing.
  • 3. Deconstruction and Material Salvage.
  • 4. Carpentry repairs.
  • 5. Exterior wood coatings.
  • 6. Sheet metal roof flashings, valleys and crickets
  • 7. Roofing Preparation and Installation of cedar shake roof.
  • 8. Installation of new sheet metal gutters and down spouts.
  • 9. Structural Bracing of Porch Framing
  • 10. Deconstruction and Material Removal.
  • 11. Carpentry repairs of Log Beam and accompanying materials.

See ITB Section D.5 A.4 PROJECT SITE 84544 US-101 Florence, Lane County, OR 97439 This project site is a State-owned public building. Criminal record checks (“CRC”) will be required (see also Attachment D-1). Aerosolizing, smoking or vaporizing when on the site is prohibited (see ORS 433.845). A.5 SITE ACCESS Site access will be provided. THIS ADDITIONAL SITE ACCESS WILL NOT SUBSTITUTE FOR ATTENDANCE AT ANY MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE. Agency staff will not be onsite to answer questions during alternate site access times. All Bidder questions must be submitted using the process set forth in Section C.4. A.6 PROJECT COST ESTIMATE AND FUNDING The following range is a Project estimate for bonding purposes: $180,000.00 ~ $200,000.00. This Project is anticipated to be funded with State funds, as detailed below. Award is dependent upon Agency’s receipt of sufficient Project funding. A.7 KEY PROJECT DATES PROJECT START DATE: Upon issuance of Notice to Proceed [or August 3, 2026] SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION: October 8, 2026 FINAL COMPLETION: October 22, 2026 CONTRACT END DATE: One (1) year from Final Completion A.8 LIQUIDATED DAMAGES Liquidated damages of $200.00 per calendar day will apply to the Contract resulting from this ITB for each day elapsed in excess of the Substantial Completion date and $1,000.00 per calendar day for each day elapsed in excess of the Final Completion date (see also Attachment D-1). If liquidated damages should become payable concurrently under any combination of liquidated damage rates, the rate that will be assessed will be the highest applicable rate. A.9 PREVAILING WAGE RATES Oregon Parks and Recreation is exempt from the Public Contracting Code for purposes of this solicitation, including the prevailing wage requirements of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870. REPORTING of Prevailing wage rates does not apply to this project. HOWEVER, Contractor is responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and rules that apply to persons or companies working on OPRIS ITB #13944 – Cleawox Bathhouse and Roof Restoration 4 Public Properties. Each Addendum shall be labeled as such and shall be made available to all interested Bidders. The plural form of "Addendum" is "Addenda". "Agency" means the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (“OPRD”).
